I am an Associate Solicitor based in the Family Law Department at BRR Law and joined the firm in August 2017.
I was born in Scunthorpe and have lived here my whole life, apart from moving away to study LLB Law at the University of Leicester for 3 years.
In 2016 I moved back to Scunthorpe and commuted to the University of Sheffield to complete my Legal Practice Course – achieving a Distinction in my Family Law and Practice Module.
I deal with a number of different aspects within the Family Law Department – including Divorce, Financial Settlements, Separation and Domestic Violence, working on over a hundred cases per year.
During my time at University, I obtained vital experience, particularly in Family Law, which allowed me to gain an understanding as to the sensitive nature of the varying situations that people face within these matters.
