I joined BRR Law as a Senior Associate Solicitor in June 2026.
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2009, and have specialised in Children Law throughout my career. Since August 2013, I have been a Law Society Accredited Expert in Children Law.
I specialise in representing parents and children in care proceedings. I have a wealth of experience in cases concerning:
Domestic abuse
Drug & alcohol misuse
Mental Health concerns
Alleged sexual abuse
Serious injuries to children, including significant bruising, burns, fractures and brain injuries

I have an excellent track record of demonstrating to the Court that my client did not cause the injuries to their child and achieving rehabilitation of the child back to my client’s care.
I represent fathers who may have lost touch with their child (including where the child’s mother has refused to allow any contact) and subsequently receive notice from children’s services that care proceedings have been issued. I am able to advise how best to re-establish the relationship – at the child’s pace – and strongly advocate in Court on their behalf as to why it is in the child’s best interest to have a relationship with their father and paternal family. I have represented fathers who have had their child placed in their care after a long period of no contact.
I also represent grandparents who have had their grandchildren placed in their care by children’s services and ensure that they receive any support – including financial support – which they require.
I do not underestimate the trust I ask my clients to place in me and my advice; however, from my 17 years of specialising in this area of law, and the hundreds of parents and children I have represented, I feel well placed to advise on the best approach to optimise the chances of a positive outcome for my client and their family.
When I’m not at work, you will probably find me at a local play park with my two young daughters.
